Outfield Players

Willie Lyle

Experienced full back signed in the Summer of 2007 from Stranraer who has also played for Raith and Ayr.  Now in his second season at Ochilview, Willie is one of the fittest players in the squad.  Always fights for every ball and keeps going until the final whistle.

Adds bite to the engine room of the squad. Paul is a consistent performer and power house who rarely has a poor game. Also known as "bucket" Paul was the Warriors' Player of the Season last year.

Brought into the squad from Spartans where he had a very successful season last term. Midfielder who likes to get forward and so far the move to the senior game has not fazed him.

Steven Desmond

Talented young midfielder who made his debut during the 2006/7 season when he also played in the Scottish youth setup.  With an eye for a pass and a strong tackle he will hope to feature in more first team games this year. Was on loan last season at Cumnock Juniors and took part in the Scottish Junior Cup Final.

Robert Love

Another newly promoted youth player who will be in contention for a first team place. Started the season very well but was injured in the CIS Cup game against St. Johnstone after scoring for the Warriors. Scott Dalziel

"Dazzler" joined the Warriors in January 2008 from Cowdenbeath  with the envious task of replacing previous top scorer John Dempster.  He made an immediate impression with two goals in his debut against the Shire in a 3-0 win! Another 6 foot plus man in the squad he will look to get the season off to a flyer.
