August Dempster Going Nowhere! |

The Warriors are delighted to announce that striker John
Dempster has signed a contract extension through until the Summer of 2009.
John joined the Warriors in January 2007 from Cumnock
Juniors FC, Campbell Money said "John
will give us something different up front"
when he signed him and he was right. John combines pace and power with
the ability to pull off the occasional trick and despite joining mid-season
finished the club's top scorer last year. John has already started banging
the goals in this term and his impressive displays have been rewarded with an
additional year on his contract.

10th August New Signings! |
Campbell
Money has made further moves in the transfer market this week signing three
players! Joining up are Matt Flynn a wide right midfielder who spent last
season at Brechin and Alan Lindsay, a midfield playmaker who was with Ross
County last term. In addition we have signed Alan Gilbride (pictured left) from
Morton on loan until January. Alan is a highly rated young centre back at Cappielow and will provide back-up in this key area of the team. He has
come through the youth ranks there and has so far made one first team appearance
in a 2-0 win at Forfar . . . and of course if he plays tomorrow for the Warriors
it will be back at Forfar. Hopefully in another win!

more than anyone as he was sent off right near the start of extra time and after
the match we discovered that he had sustained cracked ribs during the match!

10th July Open
Day Details Announced! |

As announced the club have organised an open day at Ochilview on Sunday 22nd
July. The plan is simple - we want all of our supporters to come along and
really get to know the players and the management team - a unique chance to
break down the barriers. On the day the players will be hosting a series of
'come and try' skills competitions:
* test your keepie-uppie skills against your mates;
* cross-bar challenge - stolen from Soccer AM we will make it easier
and the fans can try from the edge of the box;
* penalty shoot out - have a go against John Hillcoat
* thunderbolt - how hard can you shoot?
* Road runner - can you beat Ross Hamilton in a sprint?
* Coaching school - 15 minute coaching session to learn a few flicks
and tricks.
All of the above is free and the players will be in charge of
each of the competitions - a chance to get to chat and get their views on the
season ahead.
Ask the manager - we will take time in the day to have a question and answer
session with Campbell for all of the supporters.
We will also launch our new strips for the season - your first chance to see
the new home and away strips - your first chance to be a proud owner!!
All this and more starting at 1pm.

The
club are keen to have as many of its supporters as possible to have an affinity

in memory of a loved one, as your nickname. We are now opening the chance
again for all of our new supporters to sponsor a seat again - have your own
message engraved onto a plaque which will be attached to the seat forever!!
The cost is just £25 - this is not about making money, it is about our
supporters! Please drop an email or a note to the club if you wish to take up
this offer - we can tell you which seats are available.

Duncan Frame MBE! |
We
wish to congratulate Warriors fan and all round good guy Duncan Frame who has
been awarded the MBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours list. All at the club are
delighted for Duncan, a wholly merited award for all of his efforts at Larbert
Village Primary where he has been the janitor for 24 years. Duncan has helped
the club on many occasions with introducing our community programme to the
school. All he has to do is try and persuade the Queen to take a season ticket
when he is there! Congratulations from one and all!
His citation said that his 24-year stewardship of Larbert Village Primary School
in Stirlingshire had been outstanding and noted he had organised and coached the
school's football team for many years. Mr Frame said: "It came as a surprise
when the letter came through the door. I thought it was a wind-up. "I don't
think I'm very special, but the people on the school board said people get on
with me, which is great. It's a big honour that people think enough of you to
put you forward."
Mr Frame added that the honours system still had a role to play in modern
society.
He said: "This is an honour for the school and the kids love it. They were all
cheering and some even asked me if I could get the Queen's autograph if I see
her."
