Pre-Season

Following his break in Tenerife, Campbell is now back at Ochilview preparing for the new season.

“Pre-season training starts next Tuesday and whilst the players will see little of the ball for the first few weeks, I’m really looking forwards to working with the new squad of players. We’ve lined up a series of attractive looking friendlies including a visit to Forres and I’m looking to use the trip north as a real team bonding session where the players will get to know each other a bit better”

Campbell has 15 Senior professionals on the books at present with central defender Andrew Gow expressing a wish to remain at the club following his loan period at Cumbernauld Utd, however Campbell will not be pursuing his interest in striker David Gillies at this time.

Jamie Smith
Craig Menzies
Scott McCulloch
Andy Gow
Craig McEwan
John Dillon
Paul Tyrell
Stephen Ferguson
Tam Murdoch
Ross Hamilton
Brian McLaughlin
Steven Hampshire
John Dempster
Andy Thomson

Along with the following recognised U-17/19 players who featured last season

Scott Johnstone
Rhys Galloway
Gary Thom
Steven Desmond
Robert Forde
Scott McManus.

Further Additions?

Campbell continues to scour the market for further additions. “Ideally I need another goalkeeper, a right sided midfielder and a centre half and will be on the phone over the coming weeks to bolster the squad further. I feel we have the making of a really good team but pre season is a vital platform to build a solid foundation for the coming months and the hard work starts in earnest next week.
