School Holidays
Warriors in the Community run numerous events and camps during Primary and Secondary School holidays, in-service days as well as bank holidays.
Holiday Camps: Holiday camps run throughout the Easter, Summer and October school holiday for all children aged between 5-14. The camps run on a weekly basis and allow children to come for a;
- Whole Day – 10am-3pm (Targeted at 5-14 year olds)
- Half Day – 10am-12noon (Targeted at 5-9 year olds)
- Half Day – 1pm-3pm (Targeted at 10-14 year olds)
Each week has a different plan and each day a different aspect of football will be worked on, whether it be control, passing, shooting, heading, dribbling, or many more. Each day consists of an extensive, age related warm-up followed by a fun, structured skills related practice. From then a game related practice will be done. This can be anything from a fun game of Handball, Crab Football or even Football Tennis. From then, each child will be put into age related teams by one of our SFA Qualified Coaches and play small sided games against other teams of the relevant age. All children coming along to the Whole Day session are asked to bring a packed lunch as lunchtime is between 12noon and 1pm.
The prices of these camps are;
- Whole Day - £25 (£20 for Young Maroons members)
- Half Day (Morning) - £15 (£12 for Young Maroons members)
- Half Day (Afternoon) - £15 (£12 for Young Maroons members)

Play All Day For £2 - whether it be Singles, Doubles, 5-a-side, YOU decide:Warriors in the Community have setup a programme for boys and girls to come and play football at Ochilview Park from 10am-4pm for £2 per day each school in-service day or bank holiday. This programme runs throughout the school year and takes place no matter what the weather throws at us. Play All Day For £2 allows your son/daughter to come along to a safe, supervised environment and play football the way they want to. The main aim of Play All Day For £2 is to get children back into playing regular football. Play All Day For £2 allows your son/daughter a chance to play on a 3rd Generation Astroturf pitch with no adult telling them you can't play here or you can't play there. There is no need to book a place, just turn up on the day and play.
Birthday Parties
Celebrate your birthday the Warrior Way
Birthday Parties are a major event in every child's year. Warriors in the Community has recognised this and we are determined to make it even more special. Our facilities at Ochilview allow Birthday Parties to take place whatever the weather. The Birthday Parties are co-ordinated by our very own Community Development Officer and his Assistant in giving a high standard of enjoyable coaching for each of the children at the Birthday Party. The day lasts two hours which are split into;
- First 75 minutes – Football Coaching and Games
- Final 45 minutes – Party foodand party games to complete the event.
The food will be supplied in the Norway Stand Viewing Gallery looking onto the pitch and over the Ochil Hills. Warriors in the Community supply;
- Juice – fizzy or non-fizzy
- Sandwiches – 2 platters
- Hot dogs and burgers – Enough are made so every child attending receives either a hot dog or a burger.
- Crisps + Biscuits – A wide selection of flavours of crisps and kinds of biscuit are supplied.
- A signed football for the birthday child
- A FREE Stenhousemuir FC season ticket for the birthday child
The price of a Birthday Party is £100 for 12-16 children, additional children are charged at £5 per head to a maximum of 18. However, if the birthday child is a member of the Young Maroons the price is a discounted £80 for up to 12-16 children plus £5 per additional child. Sundays (10am-3pm) are the most suitable days for birthday parties however we will endeavour to accommodate any wish. To book a Birthday Party with Warriors in the Community please contact our Community Development Officer on jamie.swinney@stenhousemuirfc.com and provide the following information:
- Date for the party (1st and 2nd choice)
- Time of the party (1st and 2nd choice)
- Number and average age of children attending
- Birthday child name
- Contact telephone number and address
After receiving the email we will aim to deal with the request within 5 working days. Please Note: A minimum of 2 weeks notice is required for a birthday party at Stenhousemuir FC.
