Stenhousemuir Football Club and Falkirk Council have come
together in a community football partnership to develop football for 5-13 year
olds in the Stenhousemuir, Larbert, Denny and Bonnybridge areas. The aim is to
encourage more boys and girls of all ability levels to actively participate in
our national sport Listed below is information on a range of football courses to
cater for all children aged 5-15. These fun and educational courses will be
delivered by a team of SFA certificated coaches who will endeavour to ensure a
quality experience is had by all.
Soccer Centres
Stenhousemuir Football Club have pleasure in informing you of
our next block of Soccer Centre classes.
Whilst
Stenhousemuir Football Club are still very much part of a partnership with
Falkirk Council, the Ochilview Astroturf Soccer Centres will now be administered
and run by Stenhousemuir Football Club.
As for the previous blocks, classes will be held on Wednesdays, 5-8 year olds
from 4pm – 5pm and 9-13 year olds from 5pm – 6pm. The Block will run over a ten
week period between the 23rd April until 25th June 2008.
The block dates will be as follows:

Twilight Leagues
The popular Twilight Football League returns to Ochilview Park,
Stenhousemuir, on Friday evening between 8 and 10pm, and Saturday evenings
between 6 and 8pm starting on Friday 18th of January.
This joint venture between Stenhousemuir Football Club and Falkirk Council set
up an opportunity to play football for boys and girls of any Secondary School.
The participants can play in football or Astro boots. Stenhousemuir Football
Club will provide all other equipment as required. Our supervising staff
organise teams on the night, so no one will miss out.
As games are played under floodlights, this gives a totally different experience
in how to play football, and this helps to provide some of the enjoyment for the
young players.
Leagues are set up on the night for most age groups, all with the emphasis on
playing football rather than being coached.
The event is set out and organised to ensure that young people are playing
against others of approximately the same age. Young people are encouraged to
bring their friends, as they may be able to have their own team, which adds to
the competitive feel of the games.
This football experience is free to all young people, between 8 and 10pm on
Fridays and between 6 and 8pm on Saturdays until the 15th March.

Young Maroons
The Young Maroons is a Saturday morning club located at
Ochilview Astro, Turf and is aimed at boys and girls aged between 5-13 years.
The classes run over two periods, with the 5-8 years beginning at 9.15am and
ending at 10.15. The age group 9-13 years begins at 10.45 and finishes at noon.
The Young Maroons is open to children of all levels of ability.
Soccer Tots
The Soccer Tots session is held at the Tryst Community Centre
in Stenhousemuir and operates on a Sunday morning between 10am and 10.45am. The
Soccer Tots is open to children aged 3 - 4 years of age and introduces very
young children to a programme that aids their body movements e.g. jumping,
turning, tumbling etc and also gives them an early introduction to football.
Soccer Tots will shortly be starting classes in the Denny area.
After School Clubs
Stenhousemuir Football Club and Falkirk Council have undertaken
to deliver football to primary school children in the Stenhousemuir, Larbert,
Denny and Bonnybridge areas. These hour long sessions take place at primary
schools throughout the above area immediately after school. Soccer Centres
Stenhousemuir Football Club run Soccer Centres at Ochilview Asto Turf on a
Wednesday for children aged between 5 and 13 years. These sessions last one hour
and are staged between 4pm and 6pm.
Holiday Camps
Sponsored by;
Stenhousemuir Football Club run Holiday Camps at Easter, Summer
and during the October holiday break. The Camps run a weekly basis and offers
the child the opportunity to participate for the fully day or half day session.
The Camps are open to all 5-13 year old children.

Birthday's are a major event in every children's calendar and
at the Warriors we are determined to make the event even more special. Our
outstanding facilities at Ochilview with state of the art synthetic surfaces
mean good clean fun - add in top quality football coaches who will gear the
party to fun for all and aimed at all levels of ability, birthday parties at
Ochilview have been a great success.
For an hour the kids will receive fun for all football coaching and games out on
our synthetic pitches. Afterwards the kids will go up to our gallery area within
the stand which overlooks the park. There the kids can have some food and drink
as well as some party games - we will work with everyone to suit their needs.
A minimum of 12 kids are required to make it a success and we would be
