John was appointed Manager in October 2007. He achieved promotion with us in his 1st full season as manager with the club at the end of season 2008/09. His previous honours are winning the 3rd Division title with Berwick Rangers in season 2006-07. He was previously Manager at St. Mirren between December 2002 to November 2003. John played for Newtongrange Star JFC gaining 2 Scottish Junior Caps prior to joining Meadowbank Thistle then Berwick Rangers before injury cut short his career
